All kinds of legends are associated with the small size of this sausage that was first served in 1313AD at Bratwurstglöcklein, a restaurant that still operates today. Our favourite version is that Nürnberg Innkeepers were able to sell to guests locked outside the walls after curfew by passing the bratwurst through the keyhole of the door.
Vac packed in 1kg bags - they are a fresh sausage and preservative free so dont have a long shelf life but the good news is that they freeze really well!
